Our journey begins in Ho Chi Minh City, home to the War Remnants Museum—perhaps one of the most powerful and moving museums we have ever visited—as well as the famous Cu Chi Tunnels. From the very beginning, you will gain a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s complex history. Naturally, places associated with war can be emotionally challenging, but this is an important part of the country’s story and something we believe should not be overlooked. As the days unfold, however, the scenery becomes increasingly spectacular and the experiences increasingly uplifting, so that when the time finally comes to leave Vietnam, it is the country’s beauty, warmth and unforgettable spirit that will stay with you.

Departure for Vietnam
Passport… Check. Suitcase… Check. Excitement… Check! Meet your fellow travellers at the airport and begin an unforgettable adventure to Vietnam, with an international flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
- 2Day 2
Ho Chi Minh City – War Remnants Museum
Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City, formerly Saigon and Vietnam’s largest city, where our local guide welcomes us and introduces us to our destination on the way to the hotel. After some time to settle in and relax, we visit the powerful War Remnants Museum for an eye-opening introduction to the Vietnam War and its impact on the country. The afternoon is free to explore the city at your own pace or unwind with an optional massage.

Cu Chi Tunnels – Flight to Da Nang – Hoi An
After breakfast and check-out, we visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, the extraordinary underground network used by Viet Cong forces during the Vietnam War as living quarters, communication routes, supply areas and medical facilities. Following our guided visit, we transfer to Ho Chi Minh City Airport for our flight to Da Nang and continue to atmospheric Hoi An for our overnight stay.

Hoi An
A full day to discover one of Vietnam’s most enchanting towns at your own pace. Wander through the atmospheric Ancient Town, enjoy traditional Vietnamese coffee, discover Hoi An’s famous tailor shops and sample local favourites such as Banh Mi. As evening falls, hundreds of colourful lanterns illuminate the streets and the Hoai River, transforming the town into a magical setting. Take a traditional wooden boat ride, release your own lantern onto the water and make a wish.

Basket Boat – Cooking Class – Traditional Lantern Workshop
Enjoy a day filled with optional local experiences around Hoi An. Visit the coconut village and ride one of its famous round basket boats, join a Vietnamese cooking class with a local chef and learn how to prepare authentic dishes, or create your own traditional folding lantern to take home as a souvenir. You can also visit a silk workshop or simply spend more time exploring Hoi An’s beautiful Old Town before enjoying its magical evening atmosphere.

Golden Bridge – Ba Na Hills – Da Nang
Visit one of Vietnam’s most photographed landmarks, the spectacular Golden Bridge at Ba Na Hills, seemingly supported by two enormous stone hands high above the mountains. Reach the resort by its famous cable car and enjoy time exploring the surrounding attractions and mountain scenery. Later, we continue to Da Nang, where you can stroll around the city and see the iconic Dragon Bridge illuminated over the Han River before our overnight stay.

Da Nang – Flight to Hanoi – Free Time
Enjoy some free time in Da Nang, perhaps taking a morning walk along the beach before transferring to the airport for our flight to Hanoi. Arriving in Vietnam’s historic capital, discover a fascinating blend of Asian traditions and French colonial influences. Spend your free time exploring the narrow streets of the Old Quarter, sampling Hanoi’s celebrated cuisine, shopping and experiencing the vibrant atmosphere of one of Asia’s most characterful capitals.

Ha Long Bay Cruise
Travel from Hanoi through the countryside of northern Vietnam to magnificent Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its thousands of dramatic limestone islands and karst formations. Spend the day cruising through this extraordinary landscape, with opportunities for kayaking and cave exploration, including spectacular formations such as Thien Cung, the “Heavenly Palace Cave.”

Hanoi – Sleeping Bus – Sapa
After breakfast, board a comfortable sleeping bus for the approximately 6–7-hour journey into the mountains of northern Vietnam. The route itself is part of the adventure, revealing spectacular mountain landscapes along the way. Arrive in Sapa, a fascinating multicultural destination surrounded by rice terraces, waterfalls and villages inhabited by several ethnic minority communities. Despite travelling by sleeping bus, tonight’s accommodation is in a hotel in Sapa.

Sapa – Fansipan
Discover Fansipan, the highest mountain in Vietnam and Indochina, rising to 3,143 metres. Take the spectacular cable car towards the summit and, for those who wish, continue up the final steps to “conquer” the peak. Admire breathtaking mountain panoramas, Buddhist temples and monumental Buddha statues before returning to Sapa. The remainder of the day is free to explore the town and its colourful market, where local produce and handmade souvenirs await.

Lao Chai – Ta Van – Return to Hanoi
Explore the traditional villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van, set in a spectacular green valley surrounded by Sapa’s mountains and rice terraces. Home to H’mong and Giay communities, these villages offer an authentic introduction to rural life, local traditions and the magnificent landscapes of northern Vietnam. After a memorable day among villages, waterfalls and rice fields, board our sleeping bus for the return journey to Hanoi and our final overnight stay.

Free Day in Hanoi – Return Flight
Enjoy your final day in Hanoi exactly as you wish, with free time for last-minute sightseeing, shopping, local food or simply soaking up the atmosphere of Vietnam’s capital. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for the return flight home, taking with you unforgettable landscapes, cultural experiences, encounters with welcoming locals and, above all, memories and friendships created during an extraordinary journey through Vietnam.
